Hi Rose What a great new website! I am still not understanding how to work on integrating sn in virgo in the 4th (and nn in pisces in the 10th) with the skipped step of neptune in scorpio in the 7th... could you please go over that one again (sn was the last to conjunct neptune)... at what point will the soul know it is safe to move to the nn? Thank you.

Hello Lionheart , The composite of issues of past lifetime experiences is indicated by the south node. The intention with the south node in Virgo in the 4th house is to strip away the complexity of ego identity amassed over lifetimes. The nodal axis located in the 4th and 10th house, in mutable signs, indicates through the south node the time of the original imprinting of the polarization conflict for this soul. What has been impregnated into/totality permeated the subconscious and conditioning of the individual was ignited during the time of the transition and fall of the matriarchy – 4th house Virgo (living in a natural state of “at oneness”) and the rise of patriarchal domination (the loss of “oneness/wholeness” – 10th house Pisces – the beginning of isolation, rulers, dominators, caste systems, etc).
The soul is attempting to learn to adjust and restructure the egocentric identification through a chosen purification process.
The soul is attempting to acquire new information in order to learn to discriminate between useful sacrificing (true humility – giving it up to a higher purpose and the purging of false identities to arrive at the true humbleness of the Virgo archetype) and wasteful sacrificing – the sacrificing of an identity in order to achieve (4th house) security. Neptune in the 7th house squaring 4/10 houses indicates a (false or) misjudgment/misalignment of value associations (7th house Neptune) – primarily experienced through the degradation of self/giving away of power in relationships. The archetype of cardinality restates the internalized anxiety which sets in motion/ perpetuates the insecurity of the south node placement – an underlying guilt complex based on the construction of the (false) persona as shown by the Neptune skipped step.
The soul has been seeking to find a level of security – south node in the 4th. This search has been prompted by the subconscious and internalized Virgo sense of the “existential void”. Something is “wrong with the picture”. Something has been and is missing. The soul has created a physical and emotional recalling of this sense of lack through the biological parents and early childhood environment. It would be common for this individual to feel unwanted, out of place, inconvenient, at fault, inner shame, inner blame, misunderstood at a core level, misjudged, imperfect, inferior, identification as a misfit, unable to get it right, unable to feel emotionally secure and settled, etc. no matter how much effort is applied to correct, atone and secure. Security has been missing right from the beginning of the current life. This is indicated by the 4th house - early childhood environment. The insecurity felt over lifetimes has resulted in/generated the personal crisis of intensified anxiety re self-identification & lack of self-identification; the inability to face self directly, honestly and openly; personal judgments regarding shortfalls and failings. What has been missing is the innocent self – as it was at the beginning of memory - purity, simplicity and oneness. What has been/is also missing is self-acceptance.
Inner responsive is attuned to matriarchal identification (at “one”ness) at a deeply internalized, buried and subconscious level. The intention with the south node square Neptune in Scorpio is to unlock the memory banks in order to find the key to return to essential self. There is the reminder “echo” of matriarchal resonance at the emotional level. Neptune in Scorpio represents where the crisis is energized and played out –a skipped step around the relationship dynamics. The soul is attempting to acquire new information in order to learn to discriminate between useful sacrificing (true humility – giving it up to a higher purpose and the purging of false identities to arrive at the true humbleness of the Virgo archetype) and wasteful sacrificing – the sacrificing of an identity in order to achieve (4th house) what is perceived as security. Neptune in the 7th house squaring 4/10 houses indicates a (false or) misjudgment/misalignment of value associations (7th house Neptune) – primarily experienced through the giving away of power in relationships. The archetype of cardinality restates the internalized anxiety which sets in motion/ perpetuates the insecurity of the south node placement – an underlying guilt complex based on the construction of the (false) persona as shown by the Neptune skipped step.
The underlying guilt and atonement of the 4th house Virgo is expressed through self-punishment and is further perpetuated through experiences of family, the early environment and the relationship dynamic.
A causative factor of underlying guilt comes from the memories of the wearing of “disguises” – of roll playing, of not being true to self/not forgiving self for perceived wrongdoings and shortfalls. In past lifetimes, this packaging of self was a way of hiding - a survival technique (Scorpio) in order to gain, retain and maintain something that was perceived as power – ie a label defined by the social order of the day (I am “a wife” a ……., etc. fill in the blank). This way of relating is typical of a Libra/7th house archetype – attempting to be a projection of another’s reality in order to be accepted and loved.
The wearing of disguises, the packaging of an identity and the need to punish self and atone is out pictured through the mirror of the seventh house – the attraction to/attraction of those who falsely represent themselves – in some cases subconsciously, in some cases deliberately (hidden agendas). (the 7th house represents diversity of relationships and ways of relating.)
The north node in Pisces in the 10th house as the evolutionary tool to move forward, indicates the soul’s intent is for the individual to dissolve the limitations of past lifetime conditioning factors, and to dissolve the perception of segregation – the “parceling” out of an identity (I am this when I am with this person/in public, I am that when I am with this person/in private). The intention is to be totally integrated into a format, form and socialized context that allows for the individual to master an enduring, self consistent identity that is fully recognized, fully embraced, fully reconciled and “at one”/attuned with the true self. Essentially the soul is looking to create peace both within the emotional self and the socialized self.
The skipped step with Neptune – the outpicturing of false personas and subsequent disillusionment, feelings of abandonment, betrayal are meant to be re-experienced to draw attention to the work the soul has chosen. These themes will continue to be replayed until the individual realizes the complexity of the south node issues as described above.
As I have described it here, it is necessary for the individual to do the south node work. This will immediately ignite the north node - everything works simultaneously.
Neptune in Scorpio represents the stripping away of the disguises and the stripping away false identification of that which represents power and self-empowerment. Disillusionment, betrayal and abandonment are vehicles through which the individual will learn the reclaiming of self. Total absorption in a chosen role – total absorption in a relationship (with self first – 4th house) is also a primary key to personal transformation and re-empowerment. Confusion over boundaries, and dis-empowering sacrifices are part of the Neptune signature. The individual needs to totally explore the depth of relationships to understand what the psychological/emotional makeup is behind the veneer. Scorpio represents a continuous search and a continuous questioning and monitoring of what is occurring beneath the labels, the identifications and first layers.
When will the individual know when the south node work has been completed and that the north node has been accessed? The cardinal houses represent a continuous learning curve (as does mutable signs and the Scorpio archetype) and will keep this dynamic “alive” to a certain extent. When can the individual know when they are on the forward march and that the concentration will be energized and accessed more through the north node? When the individual is able to come out of hiding. When interacting with the world at large is truly reflective of that which the individual desires and resonates with most naturally. When the individual attracts relationships with types that make the individual feel naturally at home, at peace, respected, safe to express the totality of their inner being-ness without generating insecurity, without having to hide, misrepresent or employ justifications (they need me because, I them because), without having to package or do the “sales pitch”, without having to sacrifice portions of self. When the individual recognizes there are no saviours and no victims. When the individual no longer feels a sense of disillusionment and disempowerment, when the walls come down and there is a true sense of merging with another yet still there is a retaining of self-identity – a “seeing” of self, this will be when the north node will be activated and a new, more integrated/intact persona will be energized. Acceptance (love and forgiveness), not punishment, is the path to self-mastery, self empowerment and successful relating. When the individual feels a level of consistency re all of the above, then the individual can feel safe that a workable and solidly enduring structure is in place and that it will not crumble with each new test the soul chooses to energize.
Of course, further information would be necessary to look at. The rulers of nodes, where is Pluto and the aspects, etc…
Thank you for posting. Many blessings, Rose

Great stuff Rose I'm still digesting... with Mercury in Leo in the 4th house, what would you recommend specifically for this soul to do as a "practice" in order to adjust and restructure the egocentric identification considering that this soul is in 1st stage spiritual (as recently revealed by Wolf), relative to the placement of Pluto in Virgo in the 5th house. Thank you

Dear Rose,Indeed a meaty & interesting subject. I am still chewing on it too. Thank you for your in-depth response. I have a question that gives a twist to this thread: How does it change the picture when the north node is Virgo in the 10th & Pisces south node in the 4th last over a Uranus square in the 7th? I real-eyes as Wolf says that "one size does not fit all" but some generalizations would be appreciated. Thanks, Lionheart for introducing this subject. Blessings to all. Mouseheart

The lesson for Mercury in Leo in the fourth house (in 1st state spiritual) is one of recognition of, absolute faith in, and identification with the creative principle – to understand the true meaning of singularity and unification; and to find security within this concept. To recognize that there is truly no separation from the source. To work (to take the necessary steps) toward becoming empowered and at one with source/self. The lesson of Mercury in Leo in the fourth house is to acquire a greater perception/understanding of the active creative principle through a gathering of experience and an energizing or mobilization of self. To set in motion, to illuminate/animate spirit from within. “To humble” (the ego) & “to strengthen” (the spirit).
In order to be effective (to manifest), the individual must be “gathered together” from within (unified at the core- to feel the inner power of the creative/creator). Living a good (fulfilling/rewarding) life can be a reflection of the divine – this is the creator’s work. To become at one with self, is to become at one with the creator. Leo placement and 5th house Pluto influence – the development, fine-tuning, application, utilization and maximization of perception and insight. The chart signature indicates the ongoing lesson of developing utmost/absolute confidence and security in the emotional body and the inner state of “knowingness” – and to communicate this to those around her. The Leo archetype must realize that it is a channel for the source. To be “in-spirit”. To do, to be, to love. This south node ruler is learning how to create and to thrive; to acquiesce to divine will not, but not to resign to circumstance; to do creator work without suffering, doubt or loss, but with enthusiasm, energy and achievement; to find safety and security within the active (solar) creative principle. To make the life an active reflection of one’s beliefs, inner self and spiritual devotion/empowerment. To recognize self as a child of god - that to do god’s work is child’s play.
In first state spiritual, Mercury in Leo, Pluto in Virgo 5th is learning (must practice) to make the spiritual side of life the centre of one’s universe and to embrace this creator concept in totality, so that the inner light can permeate and “power up” consciousness. The individual is learning to discriminate between environments that feel thriving and alive, and ones that don’t. The spiritual state begins the process of transference from centre of consciousness rooted in ego to centre of consciousness rooted in soul. When the solar creative principle is fully embraced and activated inwardly, it will also be manifested outwardly - in a socialized context/the outer world experiencing. The individual is learning (must practice) to convey the message with strength. This will lead to a productively fulfilling personal life path and open the path of service for the individual.
Does this answer your question? What specific steps? I would use the mantra “god’s work is child’s play”. To put in motion active creativity. To actively devote one self to one’s spiritual development. To stay centred in spiritual foundations. Working with children, journal work, creative writing, teaching – these activities will ignite much. To communicate what you know and feel. To learn to have fun in the path of service. To do what gives joy.

afterthought.... As a practice, it is important/imperative for this individual to learn to develop their own ideas and what is workable for them. To develop a bottom line spiritual base that will offer an anchor/platform on which to build. To learn to understand and honor emotional impressions/responses and to act upon/communicate them. To develop the faculty of sight – both visual perception and inner/emotional perception. To focus on what ignites the spirit (and the inner child) and brings a sense of pride and joy. many blessings, rose

Thank you again Rose! Could you explain more about what specifically in the signature refers to the time of the transition and fall of the matriarchy? Is it the virgo or the virgo and 4th in combination that suggests this?

dear lionheart, virgo/pisces is a mutuational axis, and this alone will indicate a transition period. The 4/10th axis indicates the ending of one cycle and the beginning of the next. Cancer/Capricorn (or 4/10th) refers to the patriarchy/matriarchy. My comment referred to the virgo/pisces nodal axis located in the 4th/10th. (the 4th refers to the "root", the past, the legacies, inheritances and accumulations over past lifetimes, etc. etc.)
dear mouseheart, I will be back to you a little later. I assume you are asking an entirely new question about a skipped step with Uranus squaring the nodes...
blessings, rose

Hi Rose, Yes, basically it is a new question, different chart--different conundrum. How does the south node in the 4th in Pisces get resolved regarding that square to Uranus in Gemini in 7th? Wolf speaks of trauma regarding Uranus.. is that always the case? Both node rulers are in Libra. Uh-oh -relationships quagmires? How to get that cheese out of the mousetrap without getting killed again? Patiently, Mouseheartl

Hi Mouseheart... I'll give it a go... with the sn in Pisces, there have been pastlifetime dynamics in which the soul has experienced much persecution or even slavery. Whatever the experience, it has made the soul keenly aware of the pain of others. In so doing, it can create a dynamic wherein the soul is too soft with others who dump all of their stuff on them (especially family members). The realization that this dynamic is operating will encourage the soul to develop the ability to discriminate between those who are truly worthy of his/her empathy and who are not. The ability to say no must be cultivated. The deep compassion felt for others- especially family members- has blocked the soul's complete potential for outward acheivement and when this understanding has been integrated and adjusted, the soul is capable of developing true maturity and a responsible role in society that serves humanity in a significant way since the facility for empathy, once adjusted, is great. With Uranus, the need for liberation from the saturn conditions that have defined the soul's reality is highlighted. It is not always the case but it is common in this signature for the soul to experience psychological trauma to some degree (as wolf notes) through sudden, unexpected disruptions, fracturing or outright termination of relationships. When the soul's intrinsic principles are consistently violated in relationships, this will occur. When the adjustment is made, the soul may attract and it is in a sense, the soul's evolutionary mandate, to attract relationships that evidence great communication, equality, liberty and freedom between 2 people: both intimate and other relationships. In fact, there is a quality of detachment that needs to be cultivated relative to that Pisces sn in which the soul's personal self is free and able to dedicate itself to more universal causes and concerns. Just some thoughts... hope it helps...
