INTRODUCTION TO
EVOLUTIONARY ASTROLOGY:
ONE DAY WORKSHOP

Evolutionary Astrology correlates the twelve signs of the zodiac to the soul’s archetypal journey through the karmic wheel. This workshop will provide an in-depth look at the fundamentals of the signs, discussed both from their purest (natural law) expression, and from the perspective of how overlays of (past and contemporary) conditionings colour the archetypes. Rose will also offer thoughts on personal and collective evolving needs as described by the contemporary transits.

In addition to a refresher for students of evolutionary astrology, this workshop is a good introduction for those who are interested in enrolling in the next Evolutionary Astrology School, (Vancouver, BC, 30 week program) which will begin in September of 2007.

BEGINNER ASTROLOGY

Six Weeks: Cost $295.00

The astrological chart mirrors the natural cycles of life. Rose uses a building block format to teach the basics of planets, signs, and houses. Rose’s method of teaching will encourage the student to rely on their deductive reasoning and intuition, rather than memorization to grasp the fuller meanings behind the astrological archetypes. This beginner course provides a good introduction for those who are simply curious, or for those who are interested in deeper study. Rose teaches from the Evolutionary Astrology perspective, a methodology that concentrates on exploring soul purpose and soul development. Note, there is no class Mar 20 – spring break week.

TAROT:
ONE DAY WORKSHOP
Sunday April 1, 2007 10:30 – 4pm
Cost: $100.00

In this confidence-building workshop, Rose will offer a foundation for the exploration and honing of one’s intuitive faculty by introducing the Major Arcana, the first twenty-two cards of the Tarot deck. This portion of the deck can be read independently from the remaining four suits. Through encouraging class participation and discussion, Rose’s method of teaching aims to help the student to gain greater trust in their intuitive impressions. At the end of the day, students will be able to put what they have learned into immediate practice.

Participants are expected to have their own Ryder Waite deck (available in most bookstores and metaphysical shops). Additionally, students are encouraged to bring their other decks to class, the comparisons provide a wonderful tool for learning.

This One Day workshop is the pre-requisite to the 5 week evening Tarot course, starting Thurs. April 5 (see next.)

TAROT:
5 WEEK CLASS
April 5, Thurs, 7 - 9pm
Cost: $175.00

This 5 week course continues to build on the instruction provided by the One Day Workshop (see above). Using the Ryder Waite Deck, each week a different suit will be discussed - cups, wands, swords and pentacles. As with the One Day workshop, Rose will provide instruction on various card spreads. Students are encouraged to bring any other decks they may have.
